Rules
Rule Books:
Creating your rule book should be simple. Just take the rule book from below and change it to the theme and add rules that you think will make the game better. Subtract rules that don't matter or will make the game worse.

You have two extra days! Last Day to work on board game Part One is Tuesday April 19th! I will introduce Part Two this Thursday so you can think of ideas!

Cards and Money
Cards should be formatted like the original. As you see below the cards have the same text but i have changes the title and added a water mark. The back of the cards is the same just a title change of the property. This is simple formatting which can be done in Photoshop. When done set up a word document. In the word doc it must be lined up with a cosponsoring page.
Money Needs to be changed in many different ways. First is the centre logo needs to be change from what the original looked like. You must also change any other logo on the bill. try to keep things simple. at the end you will make these double sided like the cards in word.

Poster
You poster must have the following:
- Make sure to add the Hasbro or other board game company's logo. Bonus marks (5) will be rewarded for making your own logo and company!
- Use different types of fonts to improve your poster. Here is a website that can help you have creative text. http://cooltext.com/
- Slogans can be hard to make up when they are used all the time by major companies. Just Do It, I'm Lovin' It, Protect This House, Always Fresh, the list goes on of catchy slogans.
Ask yourself:
– What it does?
– Who it helps?
– What are the characteristics of the product or service?
– What are the qualities of your clients?
When you’re done, you should have at least 50-70 words to work with, ones that describe a tangible and unique benefit. From this you should start putting words together and figure out a cool slogan.
- Make a billboard ad. It's super simple. Mr. Sheppard will help you if you need as well as doing a demo on how to make a quick billboard ad.

Simple Pieces
Ticker Math
Their are a couple formulas that you must enter every Tuesday and Thursday. Here is the list of formulas so you have a reference.
% of change: To calculate percentage difference: First: work out the difference between the two numbers you are comparing. Decrease = Original Number - New Number. Then: divide the decrease by the original number and multiply the answer by 100. % Decrease = Decrease ÷ Original Number × 100.
Example: 98.94-96.61= 2.33, 2.33/98.94= 2.35%
Investment: times the new daily rate by the amount of stocks you have.
Example 96.61 X 50 = 4,830.50
Running Rate: Minus Your original day one investment by your new investment.
Example: 4,912-4,830.50= 81.50

Re-designing the game board
Re-designing a game board can be a challenging task. Here are some aspects that I will be looking for when you are working on your project.
1. Changeover of all cards. You should be re-branding everything to the theme of your game. This can be done on your computers in word/ Photoshop. You will need to make a front and back then Mr. Sheppard can print double sided for you. They will need to line-up with each other so make sure they do line-up.
2. Changeover the game pieces to make it new! you can change them with the 3D printer or you can get new ones from home or you can make a simple one out of card board. The options are endless.
3. Changeover the game board! This must be done even if you do more aspects then this you will still not get a passing mark in this section because it is the principal of what we are doing. you must change the game board by painting on it. Remaking it in Photoshop, paint, PowerPoint, etc
5. Changing the game box. This is another item that must be done to pass this section of the project. you can use paint Photoshop or PowerPoint to complete.
Marking:
If you change one aspect of your game board you get 20%
If you change 2 aspect of your board game you get 40%
If you change 3 aspects of your board game you get 60%
If you change 4 aspects of your board game you get 80%
If you change 5 aspects of your board game you get could get 85-100%
